Preparations are on to recruit 1894 posts in 3049 unaided junior high schools in Uttar Pradesh. A proposal to appoint 390 Principal and 1504 Assistant Teacher posts has been sent to the government by the Office of Additional Director in the Directorate of Education. Due to non-constitution of Uttar Pradesh Education Services Selection Commission, the examination will be conducted for recruitment through the Regulatory Authority Office. According to sources, the recruitment process will begin in the second week of February. On 4 December 2019, the state government approved the seventh amendment of the Uttar Pradesh Recognized Basic School (Recruitment and Conditions of Service of Junior High School Teachers). After that, recruitment could not begin despite all efforts.

Meanwhile, a petition was filed in the High Court by the manager of a school of junior high schools in Fatehpur over the shortage of teachers. The High Court took it seriously. Officials of Basic Education Department are preparing to start recruitment soon. About four thousand vacant posts have been mentioned earlier, but according to RTE standards, 1894 posts have been reported after receipt of vacancies by districts.

Recruitment will be done on the basis of merit list: Written test is necessary for recruitment. The first school managers were hired with the approval of the original education officers. As per the revised rules, for eligibility for teacher appointment, the candidate will get 10–10 percent numbers for High School, Intermediate, Graduation and Training (BTC / B.Ed or equivalent). There will be a surcharge of 60 percent of the numbers found in the teacher recruitment examination. Passing TET or CTET is mandatory, no additional number.

Clerks and Peons are not appointed: These schools are currently preparing to appoint principals and assistant teachers. Clerks and peons are not employed. Like council schools, school switches are done by gram panchayats and municipal sanitation workers.

Uttar Pradesh UPSESSB Teacher Recruitment 2020: Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Services Selection Board (UPSESSB), Allahabad has issued a recruitment notification for the post of Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT). This is a golden opportunity for qualified candidates to get government jobs as a large number of vacancies have been notified under UPSESSB Teacher Recruitment 2020. A total of 15,508 vacancies are to be filled in this recruitment drive, out of which 12913 are for Uttar Pradesh TGT and the remaining 2595 for UP PGT posts. How to apply and qualify: Interested and eligible candidates for UP TGT PGT Teacher Recruitment Exam Notification can visit UPSESSB official website upsessb.org or pariksha.up.nic.in. Candidates who have obtained Bachelor’s degree and B.Ed or equivalent in the concerned subject can apply for TGT posts. While for PGT, the candidate has a post graduate degree with B.Ed. Must be. The age limit for both the posts should not be less than 21 years till 1 July 2020.

Selection Process: TGT will be selected on the basis of written examination which will total 500 marks. The examination for Adhoc teachers will be conducted for a total of 465 marks. PGT will be selected on the basis of written examination and interview. For selection to this post, 5% weightage will be given to candidates with higher academic qualifications like PhD, M.Ed.

Know how much salary you will get Candidates appointed for TGT post will get Rs 44900-142400, pay level 8, grade pay – 4600. While the candidates to be appointed for the post of PGT will be given 47600-151100, pay level 8, grade pay-4800.
