Maharashtra Class 10 exam: The CBSE board has canceled the Class 10 examination on the previous day and has postponed the examinations of class 12 for the time being. Now in this episode, a fresh update has come from Maharashtra that the state government will study the decision of CBSE to cancel the 10th examinations here. In this regard, State School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad said that the state will study and discuss CBSE’s decision to cancel the class 10 examination before taking any steps for the board exams. The state’s School Education Minister said that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday canceled the Class 10 examinations and postponed the Class 12 examinations in view of the growing COVID-19 cases across the country. This decision was taken in a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He informed that “We have already requested and informed other academic boards of the state about the decision to postpone the discussion of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education class 10 and 12 examinations.
At the same time, after the CBSE, the demand for postponement or cancellation of ICSE Board Exam 2021 has also started to arise. Both students and teachers are raising their voice on social media regarding the postponement of board exams. At the same time, information has also been given by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) that the situation is being reviewed for the conduct of board examinations of both the classes.
Apart from this, the matter of postponement of other board examinations, Rajasthan Board 10th and 12th examinations were postponed. On the other hand, Himachal Pradesh School Education Board (HPBOSE), Tamil Nadu has also decided to postpone the class 10, 12 board examinations. Apart from this, states including Andhra Pradesh, Meghalaya, Karnataka will conduct board exam 2021 as per schedule.
