Candidates appearing in the 10th and 12th board exams 2021 of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) have been waiting for the examination datesheet to be released for a long time. However, now the wait for these candidates is going to end soon. Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ will announce the dates of CBSE’s 10th and 12th board exam 2021 at 6 pm today.
Today, the expectations and expectations of students are high with the announcement of the dates of CBSE Class 10 and 12 Board Exam 2021 by the Education Minister. Earlier, the Education Minister had announced that it is not possible to conduct the examinations in January-February. So will the examinations be held from March or will they be pushed in May? Will students get more time for practical exams or will there be bigger gaps in between exams? In today’s announcement by the Education Minister, students are expected to get answers to all these questions.
If seen, the CBSE board examination usually starts with practical exams for students of classes 10 and 12. For Class 10 students, the assessment is internal, while for Class 12 an external examiner is allocated. It has been confirmed by board officials that external examiners will still be deputed for the CBSE Class 12 Practical Examination. Since it is clear that the board examination will not be held till February 2021. In such a situation, teachers and experts hope that the practical examination of CBSE Board can be conducted in the month of March. However, in addition to the normal 1 month given by the board to conduct practical examinations, schools are also expected to be given more time.
Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal had said in his earlier address that the board would consider giving students adequate ‘gaps’ between the two exams. This means that CBSE may have an extended time table for class 10 and 12 theory papers. However, by extending the time interval between two subjects, the examination may have to be conducted longer, which usually takes about 40 to 50 days to complete. Let us know that CBSE has made it compulsory for a maximum of 12 students in a class. Keeping this in mind, an average of 200 to 250 students can be accommodated in any center with 20 classrooms. For most schools, keeping a certain distance between students will be a difficult task in the face of epidemic safety. Only a few large schools will be able to accommodate 400 to 500 students. Therefore, some experts believe that to manage the range of students, CBSE may resort to different dates for class 10 and 12 board exams.
At the same time, some experts also believe that increasing the number of examination centers is not so easy. Every additional room requires additional manpower and facilities. The first room had two teachers for every 24 students. At the moment it is unclear whether CBSE will retain two teachers for 12 students, or not. This can be a problem for management. In addition, the total number of students in a school can also be half. However, after the announcement of dates today, answers to all these questions are expected. It is also to be seen whether the time table will be released today. It is believed that after the announcement of the Education Minister, the CBSE Board Exam Datasheet 2021 will be made available on the official website of the board, cbse.nic.in.
