Examination of 10th (Secondary / Matric / High School) and 12th (Senior Secondary / Higher Secondary / Intermediate) examinations in various Central Board as well as States is being canceled to protect the candidates from infection or the current epidemic. CBSE Board Exam
The board examinations were decided after a review meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Education Minister, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ and other officials, including CBSE, on Wednesday 14 April 2021. According to official information, the exams of 10th class have been canceled and students will be evaluated on the basis of internal assessment. At the same time, the exams of the 12th have been postponed for the present and after the review of the epidemic situation on 1 June 2021, the new dates of the examinations can be announced. CISCE’s ICSE and ISC Exam 2021
After CBSE, the demand for postponement or cancellation of ICSE Board Exam 2021 is also being made by students and parents. Rajasthan Board Examination
Like CBSE, Rajasthan Board 10th and 12th examinations have been postponed. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, while tweeting on Wednesday, 14 April 2021, wrote that, “In view of the second wave of Corona transition, the state government has taken an important decision, the 10th and 12th board examinations conducted by Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer. Has been postponed. Apart from this, the students of class 8, 9th and 11th will be promoted to the next class without annual examination. ” Read full news here.
Himachal Pradesh Board Examination
Like Rajasthan, the Himachal Pradesh Board has also postponed two more matriculation examinations currently. The board examinations for matriculation and deposit two started in Himachal Pradesh on April 13. Punjab board exam
The 12th examinations have been postponed till 30 May 2021 by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB). According to the board’s update, the next decision on the 12th exams will be taken after a review by the CBSE on June 1, 2021. On the other hand, the decision for the 10th, 8th and 5th classes examinations is to be taken soon by the state board. Punjab Board 12th examinations were to be held from April 20 and 10th examinations from May 4.
Jharkhand Board Examination
On the other hand, demand for postponement of 10th and 12th examinations of Jharkhand Adhyavidya Parishad, Ranchi i.e. Jharkhand Board has started to arise after postponement of CBSE examinations. Maharashtra board considers cancellation of 10th exam, at present, examinations including 12th are postponed
Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad in the Maharashtra State Government said after the decision taken on CBSE board examinations on Wednesday 14 April that the cancellation of the Maharashtra Board of Class 10 exams would be considered first. At present, the 10th and 12th examinations in the state have been postponed. The exams of both the classes were to start from the end of this month.
Madhya Pradesh board examinations postponed
Similarly, Madhya Pradesh’s 10th and 12th board examinations have been postponed for 1 month on the instruction of School Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar. Chhattisgarh board examinations have already been postponed
On the other hand, Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education, Raipur i.e. Chhattisgarh Board has postponed the board examinations of class 10th and 12th. The update was released by the board on 9 April 2021 on the official website, cgbse.nic.in. The Chhattisgarh Board 10th examinations were to start from April 15 and run till May 1, 2021. New Datasheet for Uttar Pradesh Board High School and Intermediate Exams
On the other hand, a new datesheet has been released by the Council of Secondary Education for high school and intermediate exams starting from April 24. However, the state government has made this change in view of the panchayat elections in the state. Now the high school examinations will be held from 8 to 25 May.
