1. World Bank report India first country in the world to receive $100 billion remittance

• According to the World Bank report “Migration and Development Brief”, India is set to receive $100 billion in remittances in 2022, a 12% increase over 2021. India was to receive $89.4 billion in remittances in 2021. India is the first country in the world to have received $100 billion in remittances from migrant workers abroad. 7. C Achlendra Reddy became the chairman of the National Biodiversity Authority of India

• Retired Forest Service (IFS) officer C Achlendra Reddy has taken over as the chairman of the National Biodiversity Authority (NBA), Chennai. NBA Biological Diversity Act-2002.
