RRB Group D Result: Before the announcement of RRB Group D Result, Railway Recruitment Board has issued an important notice for the candidates who appeared in this recruitment exam. RRB has told in this notice how the marks and results of the candidates will be calculated and how the percentile score will be calculated. According to the notice, merit will be decided on the basis of percentile score. Candidates who will secure the minimum marks (Unreserved Category – 40%, EWS – 40%, OBC Non Cream Layer – 30% and SC & ST – 30% Marks) only they will be eligible. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their normalized marks.

For this, the percentile score of each candidate will be converted into normalized marks. Weightage will also be given to CCAA candidates. Standard Mathematical Formula, Base Shift, Raw Marks will all be seen in this process for the purpose of deciding the minimum qualifying marks.

The shift with the highest mean (average) of all the shifts of CBT will be determined as the base shift. The condition behind its determination will be that its current candidate count should be 70 per cent or more than the average of all shifts. If the highest mean of the two shifts is equal to the highest individual marks, then it will be considered as the base shift. And if the highest mean and highest individual marks are same, then the shift with highest present candidate count will be considered as base shift to break the tie.
