Rajasthan Job News: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had announced the Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme under Rural Employment MNREGA during the budget announcement. Under this scheme, 100 days employment will be given in the cities. Politics has now dominated even in the Employment Guarantee Scheme (Indira Gandhi Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme) implemented for the cities. For the implementation of the scheme, a district level committee was constituted under the chairmanship of District Collector and District Project Coordinator. In this, the commissioner of the concerned urban body (district headquarter) was appointed as the member secretary.

Now by amending this, the commissioner of the Municipal Corporation with Congress Board in Jaipur, Jodhpur and Kota has been appointed as the member secretary of the Employment Guarantee Scheme. Hridesh Kumar Sharma, director of the Autonomous Governance Department, issued orders in this regard.

Congress board is there in all three cities

There are Congress boards in all the three cities of the state. The commissioner of the municipal corporation has been appointed as the member secretary of the district level committee. Under the Employment Guarantee Scheme (Indira Gandhi Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme) applicable for cities, the government is going to provide 100 days of employment in the cities. Through this scheme, 100 days of employment will be provided on the work demanded on the lines of MNREGA in urban areas. 800 crore rupees will be spent for the operation of this scheme. Citizens of urban areas will be provided employment near their residence area. So that urban families can be empowered.
