Maharashtra Pashusavardhan Vibhag Bharti 2022: The latest update for Chart of various Posts for Colleges/ Sectors. There are 3193 vacancies in Animal Husbandry Department. Animal Husbandry Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil in a written reply to a question in the Legislative Council on Tuesday informed that the posts of Livestock Development Officer, Animal Supervisor in this department have been approved to be filled on contract basis to bring the Lumpy disease under control in the state. Total 6863 posts are sanctioned in animal husbandry department.
These posts are vacant.
There are 497 vacancies in Group-A, 366 in Group-B, 1127 in Group-C and 1203 in Group-D. Maharashtra Public Service Commission has released an advertisement to fill up 56 vacancies in Assistant Commissioner Animal Husbandry cadre and 298 posts in Livestock Development Officer Group A cadre through direct service recruitment. Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil informed that after the selection of the candidates by the Public Service Commission and the recommendation letter is received by the department, the vacancies will be filled.

- Also under reference no. 2 herein dated 10th January, 2005 and reference no. 4 According to the government decision dated 20th December, 2006, College of Fisheries Science was established at Nagpur and Udgir respectively and 73 and 65 posts were sanctioned for these two colleges respectively.
- However, under section reference no. As per the government decision dated 17th February 2014 at 6 and 7, 35 and 33 posts respectively in the College of Fisheries Sciences at Nagpur and Udgir respectively have been vacated, 38 and 32 posts respectively are sanctioned in the establishment of the said college. Apart from this, as per the said government decision, a total of 12 posts of 6 posts each for both the colleges have been sanctioned through external sources.
- Also under reference no. 8 has been approved for dairy technology college at Udgir as per the government decision dated 03rd March 2014, total 37 posts are sanctioned there. Apart from this 18 posts are sanctioned through external sources. Similarly under the reference of the department no. 9 and 10 respectively dated 18th March 2016 and 31st August 2017 have been approved for Wildlife Research and Training Centre, Gorewada, Nagpur for a total of 16 posts on regular basis and 4 posts to be filled through external sources.
- After approval of the scheme as mentioned above, as well as subsequent to various government decisions, a total of 1988 regular posts and 34 posts to be filled through external sources are currently sanctioned in the university establishment.
Finance Department’s reference no. 13 Herein, as per the Government Decision dated 11th February 2016, it was directed to review the existing posts in all the ministerial departments and the offices of Heads of Departments / Heads of Office under their control. It was also informed about taking action to get the approval of the High Level Secretary Committee by including the newly created posts in the scheme.
