New Delhi (CBSE Board Exams 2023 Date Sheet), By January-May 2023, there will be an atmosphere of board examinations across the country. Many states have released the schedule of board exams (Board Exam 2023). At the same time, lakhs of CBSE board candidates are currently waiting for the release of the datesheet. It is expected that the board will soon upload the datesheet of class 10th and class 12th on cbse.gov.in.

During the preparation of CBSE Board Exam 2023, most of the students make some common mistakes (Board Exam Mistakes). If these are rectified from now on, better marks can be achieved in the 10th/12th board exams. Know some such Common Exam Mistakes, due to which the result of the board exam can be affected.

1- Not being updated with the latest syllabus
CBSE Board makes some changes in its syllabus every year (CBSE Board Syllabus). Students appearing in the board exams should check the syllabus on their own without depending on anyone else. If there is no update with the new syllabus, some important topic may also be missed.
What to do- Before starting the revision of board exams, go through the syllabus of this academic session by visiting cbse.gov.in.

2- Not knowing the correct weightage of each chapter
Everyone knows that the entire syllabus has to be completed before the board exams. But a particular chapter or topic of each subject has more weightage in the exam, very few students know about it. Knowing this, you can get better marks by preparing for that subject.
What to do- Know the weightage of each chapter by talking to your seniors, school teachers and tuition teachers. If you want, you can also take the help of a career counselor or expert.

3- Not practicing while memorizing
There is no doubt that every student has his own way of studying. Some students focus on cramming things quickly while studying. He neither makes notes nor revises that topic.
What to do- While studying any topic keep making notes along with it. Whatever you read, do revise it the very next day. With this, that topic will remain fit in the mind for a long time.

4- Not knowing the right strategy for revision
Most of the students do not know the right strategy for revision. Because of this, a lot of their time is wasted. Due to not knowing the correct method of revision, he just keeps on reading any topic, while not understanding anything special.
What to do- Always do the final revision from the notes mentioned by you. During this, revise those things well, which you have highlighted.

5- Not knowing the correct way of answer writing
Many students cover the entire syllabus of the board exam, but they do not know the correct way of writing answers. Because of this, their information does not have much value. Because of this, their marks get affected a lot.
What to do- To practice answer writing, practice previous years’ question papers and sample papers. These things have been uploaded on cbse.gov.in.
