The Revenue and Land Reforms Department has cautioned the applicants from touts and middlemen for the restoration of 10101 posts for survey work. The Director of the Department, Land Records and Perimeter Jai Singh indicated to the applicants that they should be careful while applying and do not apply under the guise of any broker or middlemen on the basis of fake documents. He said that the entire process of restoration is transparent and online.
Mr Singh said on Wednesday that even after reinstatement, the certificates of the applicant are checked and if the documents are found to be fake, legal action is also taken against the selected candidate concerned. In this restoration process, the applicant has been asked to give genuine information. Along with this, information about the action taken against the selected candidates on the basis of fake documents regarding the previous restorations was shared.

According to the department, in order to fill the previous vacancies of the year 2020 related to survey work, a large number of fake degree holders had got jobs, who have been discharged. FIRs have been registered against some. Director, Land Records and Perimeter Jai Singh said that the work of verification of documents is still going on, legal action is being taken against the candidates by freeing them from selection if they are found to be forged documents. He said that FIRs have been lodged against more than 600 fraudulently reinstated personnel in the state so far.
Letter written to DGP for the arrest of the personnel reinstated in a fake manner
According to the department, Director, Land Records and Perimeter Jai Singh has also requested the Director General of Police, Bihar for their arrest on the basis of the FIR registered against those who have been falsely reinstated. According to the letter written to DGP, Bihar, Araria, Munger, Banka, Katihar, Jamui, West Champaran, Kishanganj, Arwal, Sitamarhi, Khagaria, Madhubani, East Champaran, Begusarai, Jehanabad, Sheikhpura, Purnia, Supaul, Sheohar, Lakhisarai, Nalanda, The District Collector cum Settlement Officers / Settlement Officers of Madhepura, Saharsa and Siwan districts have been ordered to take legal action as well as recover the amount by registering an FIR against them. Action has also been taken by the respective districts in this regard.
