LD Clerk Rank Lists in various Departments after completion of 3 years only 25% appointment recommendation has been done so far. The extended list will be canceled on August 4.
Out of 36,783 persons on the list in 14 districts, 9,104 persons have been recommended for appointment so far. This includes NJD and appointment by transfer. Out of these people recommended, the actual appointment is less than seven thousand.
More than twenty-seven thousand candidates included in the main and supplementary lists are awaiting appointment. 11,413 people were appointed from the previous lists.
Mass retirement expected on May 31
As per the government decision to extend the duration of PSC rank lists, the LDC rank lists got more by 4 months and 3 days. Thus, the list, which was supposed to end on April 1, got a deadline of August 4. The vacancies reported in this will also be available to those who are in the existing list.
It is reported that more than 20,000 government employees will retire on May 31. It is now expected that proportional appointment will be made to those in the current list. This opportunity comes to those who are in these lists only because of the extension of term.
The new rank list will be delayed by 6 months
This time the LD Clerk exam was along with the SSLC standard public exam. Its valuation has not even started. Rank list will be published after the evaluation is completed and the merit list will be published and the main exam will be conducted. As these processes will take more than six months, the new rank lists should be in place by the end of this year. Until then, if the government is ready to extend the current lists, a few more people will get a chance to get elected.
More than a thousand appointments in Thiruvananthapuram alone
Thiruvananthapuram district has seen the highest number of recruitment recommendations so far – 1,032. Less in Wayanad district – 257. More than 1,000 recommendations were made in Thiruvananthapuram district alone. In Pathanamthitta, Idukki, Wayanad and Kasaragod districts, not even 500 people have been appointed. Last time, the recruitment recommendation in Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Malappuram and Kozhikode districts had crossed 1,000.

Of the 36,783 rank lists, Ernakulam district has the highest number of lists – 3,878. Less in Wayanad district – 1,172.
LDC Kannada-Malayalam without list for six years
LDC (Kannada and Malayalam Proficient) rank list in various departments is delayed.
Four and a half years after the publication of this post notification for Kasaragod district, the publication of the rank list has not reached anywhere. 29 vacancies have been reported. Candidates complain that the provision is to reserve 50% of the total LDC posts in Kasaragod district for those who know Kannada and Malayalam, but now the vacancies are being diverted and appointments are being made. They are worried that there will be no vacancies by the time the rank list is published.
Long time without appointment
LDC notification for those who know Kannada and Malayalam was on 30.12.2016. Examination on 22.10.2019. All those who had written the exam were allowed to write the descriptive exam conducted on 03.10.2020. 941 people wrote the exam. The information from the PSC office is that the assessment has been completed. Still the list of possibilities is delayed.
The previous rank list was canceled five and a half years ago. Previous rank list came into effect on 01.02.2013. Expired on 19.08.2015. 36 people got appointment recommendation from that list. No one has been appointed to this post for almost 6 years.
