DU UG Admission 2022: Delhi University has released a list of vacant seats on Wednesday. According to this released list, only one to two seats will be available for candidates in the second round of seat allotment in many courses. There are no seats left in some courses like BA Economics in Hindu College and BA Program in Aryabhatta College. Similarly in St. Stephen’s College, only a few PWD (Persons with Disabilities) seats are left in many courses. Only unreserved seats in BSc (Hons) Physics (5) and BSc (Hons) Chemistry (2) are vacant in the college. More than 50 thousand candidates took admission
In Miranda House College, all the seats for more than 20 courses are filled. DU, however, has said that the number of vacant seats may change due to conciliation, withdrawal and cancellation. DU’s first round of seat allotment was completed on Tuesday, in which around 59,100 candidates took admission in undergraduate programs by paying fees. On Tuesday, DU registrar Vikas Gupta had said that after the release of the list of vacant seats, the university would open the window for two days from Wednesday. Which has allowed those seeking admission in UG courses to upgrade to their higher ‘Program + College combination’. He had said that depending on the availability of seats, the university would announce the second round of the Central Seat Allotment System (CSAS Round-2) on October 30.
