UPSSSC PET 2022 Exam : Preliminary eligibility test postponed on September 18 know the new date

UPSSSC PET Exam 2022: Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has postponed the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) proposed on 18th September 2022. This exam will now be held in October. PET 2022 will be held on 15th and 16th October 2022 (Saturday and Sunday).

According to the notice issued by UPSSSC on 6 August, all the candidates applying for the Commission’s Advertisement No.-04, Preliminary Qualification Test (PET)-2022 are informed that the written examination of the question advertisement will be conducted on 18 September 2022. But due to unavoidable reasons now as per the revised schedule, PET 2022 will be conducted on 15th and 16th October 2022.

Candidates will be informed separately regarding admit card of PET 2022. Let us tell you that this year a record more than 47 lakh candidates have applied to participate in the PET. For the recruitment of various posts including Clerk, Group C post and Lekhpal in various departments in the Government of Uttar Pradesh, only PET pass candidates are considered eligible to apply. Candidates who are successful in PET 2022 will be able to participate in UPSSSC recruitment for various posts for the next one year from the date of PET result.

The application process for UP PET 2022 was started from 28 June 2022 and the last date of application was extended to 30 July 2022. For this, while registering 4768872, 3734446 has deposited the fee. Form 3729037 has been submitted online. The number of applicants can go up to those who pay the fees. The commission has received Rs 60.22 crore as fee.

According to the chairman of the commission, in view of the applications that have come for the preliminary qualifying examination, this time extensive preparations will have to be made. The proposed date of examination has been announced. Further discussions regarding preparations will be held at the higher level in this regard. The exam will be conducted in two shifts. Elaborate arrangements will have to be made to prevent fraud. It will take at least five to six months to declare the result after the examination.
