CDS 2021 Result: The result of the CDS Examination (2), 2021 conducted by UPSC and the results of the interviews conducted by the Services Selection Board, Ministry of Defense has been declared. Based on these results, 214 candidates have finally cleared the examination for admission to Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai for 116th Short Service Commission Course. This program is going to start from October 2022 this year. The list of 116th Short Service Commission Course (For Men) also includes the names of those candidates who were previously awarded the results of the same examination at Indian Defense Academy, Dehradun, Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala and Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Flying). pre-) training course(s) was recommended for admission.

The number of vacancies as notified by the Government is 169 for (1) 116th Short Service Commission Course (For Men) and (2) 16 for 30th Short Service Commission Women (Non-Technical) Course. According to the Union Public Service Commission, the result of the health test of the candidates has not been taken into account while preparing this merit list. The candidature of all the candidates is final. The date of birth and educational qualification of these candidates will be checked by Army Headquarters.

Candidates can also get information related to result from the website of Union Public Service Commission. The marks of the candidates, however, will be available on the Commission’s website within 15 days from the date of declaration of the final result and will be available for a period of 30 days. UPSC i.e. Union Public Service Commission says that the attention of the candidates is also invited to the scheme of public disclosure of marks and other details in respect of non-recommended candidates, the details of which are available on the website of the Commission.

Such non-recommended candidates can select their option while downloading their marks. The Union Public Service Commission has a Facilitation Counter in its premises near the Examination Hall. Candidates can obtain any information or clarification regarding their examination on working days between 10 AM to 5 PM in person or by phone numbers 011-23385271, 011-23381125 and 011-23098543.
