National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) is scheduled to be held on July 17, 2022. Medical aspirants are demanding postponement of NEET UG 2022 exam following the trend of #JUSTICEforNEETUG on social media. However, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has not yet released any information regarding the postponement of the examination.
Admit card will be issued soon
NTA may release NEET admit card soon. Candidates who have registered for the medical entrance test will be able to download the NEET admit card 2022 through the official website ntaneet.nic.in.
NEET students, who did not clear last year, say that they have not even got a year’s time to prepare. They want the medical entrance exam to be postponed for a month. During this time, apart from NTA, students are constantly demanding to postpone the examination on Twitter, tagging the Ministry of Education, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and the Prime Minister’s Office.
India Wide Parents Association says that the main concern is the less preparation time as the state counseling has been completed a few days back. The association says that the academic session of this batch will start after February 2023.
A student wrote: “In 2021 I didn’t get a seat just because of one rank, and counseling ended in April month, how can I prepare for such a huge competitive exam in just 2 months? Please at least 40 days examination should be postponed.”
