Let us inform that the Seventh Civil Services Examination is being held simultaneously for four years for the years 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 for the appointment of a total of 252 posts. The admit cards for the main examination were issued to 4,749 candidates who had applied for the candidates declared passed in the revised result of the preliminary examination. However, only about four thousand candidates could appear in the examination of all the papers.
The result of the preliminary examination was disputed, the revised result was released
Due to the controversy in the preliminary examination, JPSC had to release the revised result of this examination with the permission of the Jharkhand High Court. A total of 4,885 candidates were declared qualified for the main examination. In fact, the commission had earlier released the result by implementing reservation in the preliminary examination as well. When the matter went to court, the Commission accepted in the case of Kumar Sanyam & Ors vs State Government & Ors that it was wrong to introduce reservation in the preliminary examination. Also sought an order from the court to issue the revised result. Earlier, in the preliminary examination held at one center each in Sahibganj and Latehar, questions were raised on the passing of the candidates by serial number. After a dispute over this, the commission had declared 49 successful candidates as unsuccessful.
That’s why the test result came so soon
If sources are to be believed, the chairman of Jharkhand Public Service Commission is going to retire in the next few months. He wanted that the result should be declared as soon as possible, so that in the coming days the achievement would be recorded in his name. Here, the Hemant Soren government also wanted that the notion should be confirmed that the JPSC is no longer a thing of the past by giving early results to the candidates. The government wants the examination to be held and the result declared soon. Candidates do not have to wait for a long time. Actually, JPSC is often surrounded by controversies. This time JPSC has improved its image by giving quick results.
