Tasmag stores to close in Tamil Nadu on October 19 – Collector’s order!
The Amma District Collector has issued an order that all government and non-government liquor shops in Vellore should be closed on October 19 ahead of the Miladinabi festival in Tamil Nadu.
Miladinabi is celebrated in Tamil Nadu every year in the third month of the Islamic calendar. Such a festival of Miladinabi is celebrated in this month on the birthday of the Prophet. This date may vary from year to year. This is because such a festival is celebrated according to the lunar calendar of Islam. This year the festival of Miladinabi is to be celebrated on the coming 19th of October. Following this, the spread of corona infection in Tamil Nadu has now reduced and people are returning to normal.
