But due to the continuous rain, the government has announced that the schools will be reopened on the 20th. Also, the Sabarimala temple walk has been opened for the month of Ipasi Puja. Devotees have been banned from visiting the temple till the 19th due to heavy rains in the Pathanamthitta district. It is learned that the Kerala government has taken this decision considering the safety of the devotees.
