MP News: The way has been cleared for the declaration of PSC exam results in Madhya Pradesh. Relief news has come out for the candidates who have appeared for the Main Examination of 2019 and Preliminary Examination of 2020. The state government has withdrawn the amendment made in the MPPSC Recruitment Examination Rules 2015. Now after the next hearing in the High Court, the result of both the examinations will be released.

Let us tell you that in January 2021, 65 candidates related to the MPPSC examination had filed a petition in the Madhya Pradesh High Court. It was told through the petition that meritorious students of the reserved category are not being selected in the unreserved category. Candidates referred to the MPPSC Exam Recruitment Rules 2015. The hearing in the case lasted for about a year. In the last hearing, while giving an undertaking, the government had said that in the upcoming cabinet meeting, action would be taken to eliminate the disputed rule. On the reply of the state government, the High Court has fixed the next hearing of the case in the month of January.

Clear way for MPPSC exam result declaration

Now the government has passed a proposal to withdraw the disputed rule from the cabinet. In view of the controversial rule, meritorious candidates of the reserved category were not getting selected in the unreserved category. The High Court had stayed the declaration of results of PSC 2019 main examination and 2020 preliminary examinations. Advocate Rameshwar Yadav says that with the return of the disputed rule, it is expected that in the next hearing, the government’s reply will clear the way for the declaration of both the examination results. Let us tell you that a total of 571 posts are to be recruited in the PSC Main Examination 2019 and a total of 235 posts in the Preliminary Examination of 2020.
