In the year 2021, when the datesheet of the board examinations was announced, the second wave of Kovid 19 started increasing in the beginning of March itself. The number of cases had increased to such an extent that the examinations had to be postponed (CBSE Board Exams Canceled). After this the examinations were announced in May. But still, seeing the situation not improving, the decision was taken to cancel the board exam. Along with this, students were passed in the examination under an alternative formula.
