Areas of power outages in Tamil Nadu on Monday (Oct. 18) – Electricity Board announcement!
The Electricity Board has announced that the power supply in Chennai will be suspended on October 18 due to maintenance work. Areas of further resistance have also been reported.
Electrical maintenance work is being carried out on a monthly basis in the substations in Tamil Nadu on a district wise basis. Works are carried out by electrical staff belonging to the respective area. Electricity is suspended for the safety of staff repairing poles during electrical maintenance. Power supply to power users is prohibited during those times when work is completed.

The resistor date and time are announced in advance by the area engineer and the resistor is applied. Safe uninterrupted electricity is available to the people by carrying out monthly maintenance work. Electrical staff checks electrical connections at substations and makes necessary changes.

Following other areas, electrical maintenance work is scheduled to be carried out in Chennai on October 18. So Sandeep Road, Singaravelar Road 1st and 2nd Main Road, Chinna Nilangarai Kuppam, Sukanya Road, Part of ECR and Nilangarai, Ambedkar Nagar, Madurai Sami Madam, Vasudevan Street, Ellayamman Temple Street, State Bank The power supply to the colony will be suspended from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
