UPSC: It is said that if a person does some work with a strong intention, then no power in the world can defeat him. Always dreaming of becoming a doctor and IAS Dr. Bharti Dixit has fulfilled all her dreams with the help of hard work and determination. Dr Bharti Dixit had secured 5th rank in the 2013 IS examination. He got this success in his very first attempt.

Bharti, who hails from Delhi, completed her early studies from Holy Child Auxilium School, Delhi. After that he studied MBBS from Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi. He also appeared for UPSC Combined Medical Services Exam in 2012 before appearing for UPSC Civil Services Exam. In which he secured 13th rank. He had passed the CMS exam but always had the dream of becoming an IAS in his mind. Parents also left no stone unturned to give flight to their dreams. Bharti’s parents stood shoulder to shoulder with their daughter all the time.

Always a class topper, Bharti Dixit started her preparation 3 months before the UPSC prelims exam. He chose Medical Science as an optional subject for his graduation. He believes that success can be achieved through proper strategy. He first studied NCERT to prepare for the Civil Services Examination. She regularly read The Hindu newspaper for current affairs information. Along with this, watching the programs of Rajya Sabha TV was an important part of his preparation.

Regarding her success, she says that there are ups and downs in everyone’s life, but in the true sense, he is the winner, who overcomes all those ups and downs. The main reason for his success has been his confidence.
