UP Board Exam Result 2021: Meeting To Decide Evaluation Criteria For 10th, 12th Exams Today, Read Details

According to the latest update, Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has organized an important meeting today i.e. on 7th June 2021 to decide on the evaluation criteria of UP Board High School and Intermediate Examination 2021. During today’s meeting, the officials will discuss the modalities and formula for evaluation, on the basis of which marks will be given to the students of class 10th and 12th of UP Board.

Let us inform that the meeting is being organized in virtual mode with district level officers. Additional Chief Secretary (Secondary Education) Aradhana Shukla had on Saturday confirmed the news of this important meeting regarding the UP Board 10th and 12th Result 2021 evaluation formula.

Opinions have been sought from students, stakeholders and parents

UPMSP has asked all the concerned stakeholders to share their views and suggestions regarding the evaluation criteria for UP Board 10th and 12th Result 2021. At the same time, the representatives of government schools, unaided schools, private schools and various organizations along with parents have been asked to give their suggestions through official email. Suggestions can be sent through email on the official mail id of the UP Board of Secondary Education.

Expert panel constituted to finalize evaluation

Let us inform that on June 3, UP Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma had said that the Uttar Pradesh Board Exam 2021 has been cancelled. Subsequently, the state government also said that an expert committee would be constituted under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary (Secondary Education) to finalize the formula for awarding marks to students based on the recommendations.

This will be the assessment formula for class 12th

Presumably the formula for evaluation of students has also been finalized. As per the proposed formula, the students of class 12 will be evaluated on the basis of average marks obtained in class 10 and 11. If class 11 marks are not available, then the marks obtained in the pre-board examination will be considered. At the same time, such regular and private students of class 12 whose class 10 and 11 marks are not available will be promoted with pass certificate only.

This will be the evaluation criteria for class 10th

On the other hand, the final marks for class 2 and 10 will be determined on the basis of the average of the students’ 9th marks and class 10th pre-board exam marks. Whereas class 10 students whose pre-board and class 9 marks are not available will be promoted with pass certificate only.
