The Center had canceled the CBSE’s 12th board exams on June 1 due to the nationwide COVID pandemic. Subsequently, the CBSE constituted a committee to set a completely transparent alternative criteria for evaluation of students.
Sisodia in a letter to Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal “Nishank” said, “Most of the ‘theory’ subjects have 70 marks in the exam, so the result can be calculated as follows – 30 marks for pre-board exam And 20 marks each for class 11th and 10th exams. The remaining 30 marks can be for practical examination.
Sisodia also reiterated his suggestion to prepare a plan on how the students will be assessed next year as one more academic session may be affected by Covid due to Covid. Sisodia is also the Education Minister of Delhi.
