ANI wrote in its tweet that Education Minister S Suresh Kumar has announced that the SSLC examination to be held from June 21, 2021 has been postponed in view of the surge in #covid-19 cases. After the second wave of the epidemic is over, the revised schedule will be determined. Explain that the Karnataka School Management had requested the state government to postpone the Secondary School Living Certificate Examination starting from June 21, 2021 for 1 or 2 months. It has been decided to postpone the SSLC examination due to the increase in the number of cases of frequent infections in the state.
Earlier, the government had postponed the Karnataka Second Pre University Course (2nd PUC), ie 12th class final examination. In addition, it was decided to promote the first PUC, ie 11th class students, to the next class without taking the exam. The announcement was also made by Education Minister S Suresh Kumar. At the same time, the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET 2021) conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority has also been postponed. The announcement was made on 12 May. The KCET exam was scheduled to be held on July 7 and 8, 2021. Whereas, now this examination will be conducted on August 28 and 29, 2021.
