CBSE 12th Exam Alert: Corona virus is at its peak in the country. Millions of new cases are coming up every day. Thousands of people are dying and there are no beds in hospitals. Our health system is completely shaken. Meanwhile, speculations are being made that the CBSE Board’s 12th standard examination may be postponed till July. A board official said that the decision to postpone the examinations will be taken only after a review of the corona infection in June.
The board official also pointed out that if the situation worsens, then the exams of class 12 can be done on the basis of assessment, like 10th. However, it is too early to say all these things from now on.
It is not possible to take the exam after July
CBSE Board official said in a conversation with India TV that “If examinations are not held in July, then there can be no delay in conducting the examination. It takes more than a month to have an exam. From preparing the question paper It takes time to examine copies and make results. If the results come in the last days of August, then how will students take admission in universities and colleges. “
Demand for cancellation of examination
Many experts believe that the government should cancel the board exams and replace them with some other method of evaluation of students. A retired teacher said in a conversation with Times Now “Many students have lost their family members. These boys are 17-18 years old and are still worried about their lives. In these circumstances, the government has to cancel the examinations.” Some other method of evaluation should be worked out. As was done with the students of 10th standard. “
Significantly, in this case, the Education Minister has said that the time table of the 12th board examination and other things will be decided on June 1. Earlier, the board had postponed the 12th examinations, which was to be held in the month of March.
