Puja Vidhi: Lord Ganesha is worshiped on Sankashti Chaturthi. On this day, one should get up and take a bath before sunrise. Arghya should be given after mixing sesame in water. Fasting on this day brings special fruit. Lord Ganesha should be duly worshiped in the evening. After this, God should offer Dub. According to astrology, doing so increases wealth and respect.

It is believed that offering Tulsi to Lord Ganesha on Sankashti Chaturthi makes him angry. Therefore, they should offer Shami leaf or Belpatra. Argh should be offered to the moon in the evening. It is said that Lord Ganesha is pleased by donating sesame seeds on this day.

It is believed that fruits and vegetables occurring inside the ground should not be consumed on this day. Such as potato, radish onion or beetroot. Lord Ganesha is offended by doing this.
