SSC CGL 2020 Recruitment important notice: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued necessary notice related to Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2020. The Commission has issued a notice informing the aspirants for the SSC CGL recruitment exam. In the notice, the Commission advised that the candidates who want to apply for SSC CGL 2020 Exam and have not yet applied, should not wait for the last date. The Commission has advised such candidates to apply online before the last date i.e. 31 January 2021.

Actually, the online window of application for SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination will close on 31 January 2021. Usually the website server goes down on the last day due to heavy traffic. Therefore, the board has already informed that if the servers are down at the last moment, the application deadline will not be extended further. As per the official notification, SSC CGL exam will be held from 29 May to 7 June 2021.

Exam Schedule: The CGL exam will be conducted in four levels. Tier-1: Computer Based Examination, Tier-2: Computer Based Examination, Tier-3: Pen and Paper Mode (Descriptive Paper), Tier-4: Computer Based Test / Data Entry Skill Test (wherever applicable). Through this recruitment drive, the posts of Assistant Audit Officer, Assistant Accounts Officer, Assistant, Inspector, Sub-Inspector, Additional Division Clerk, Tax Assistant etc. will be filled.

SSC CGL: Important Dates
Online application submission date: December 29, 2020 to January 31, 2021
Last date and time for online application: 31 January (till 11:30 PM)
Last date and time for online fee payment: February 2, 2021 (till 11:30 pm)
Last date and time for offline challan: 4 February 2021 (till 11:30 PM)
Last date of payment through challan (during working hours of the bank): 6 February 2021
Computer Based Examination Schedule (Tier-1): May 29, 2021 to June 7, 2021

Please tell that, the pay scale for this recruitment will vary from Level 8 to Level 4. According to the notification, the minimum age limit prescribed by the Commission is 18 years and the upper age limit is 32 years. However, officials said that there are different age limit criteria for different posts. Candidates should read the official notification thoroughly to know the details of the posts before applying.
