The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the result of the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Preliminary Examination 2020 held on Sunday, October 4. The commission has declared a total of 1113 candidates for the preliminary examination. Candidates appearing in the exam can check their names and roll numbers in the list through UPSC official website upsc.gov.in. Earlier, on 23 October, the Commission had released only the roll numbers of successful candidates, announcing the IFS Prelims result. After which the list of roll numbers and names has been released.
Apply for the main exam from 16 to 27 November
The commission issued a notification saying that the candidates who have been declared successful in the preliminary examination, will now have to apply for the main examination. For this, the candidates have to fill the detailed application form – I (DAF-I) on the application portal of the Commission. Candidates can fill the DAF-I from 16 November to 27 November 2020, 6 pm.
Cut-off will be released after the final result
Marks, cut-offs and final ‘answer key’ of all the candidates included in the preliminary examination will be released after the results of the final examination of Indian Forest Service 2020. Apart from this, the commission has released helpline numbers for the candidates. In case of any type of problem related to the examination, candidates can call on 011-23385271, 011-23098543 or 011-23381125 from 10 am to 5 pm.
