New Delhi (ANI). The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) examination is being conducted once again on Wednesday across the country. This exam is being conducted for those students who could not take the exam due to Kovid-19. The Badi National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts the examination, has arranged to conduct the examination under the Kovid-19 protocol. It has implemented measures like increasing the number of examination centers and reducing the number of students in a room keeping in mind the Kovid-19. Masks and sanitization are mandatory for examinees. The result of NEET exam will be released on 16 October.
Conducted NEET exam on 13 September
The NTA had earlier conducted the NEET exam on 13 September. However, due to this corona virus and lockdown, a large number of students could not appear in the examination. Therefore, in different parts of the country, they have been given another chance to appear in the examination. The Supreme Court had earlier rejected a petition seeking the postponement of NEET to be held in September 2020, stating that students’ careers could not be jeopardized for long. NEET is an entrance examination for medical and allied programs, which is being conducted by the National Testing Agency.
